i think there far too cute! i bought a pair from a high street shop in the UK called River island only cus my friend told me they made me look intelligent...but still ill post pics asap.

Definitely. I wanted Chanel glasses sooo badly after visiting their site. I'm the only one in my family that actually wants glasses, but I'm the only without glasses!

i really want a pair of super geek glasses. i have a pair of old thin framed black glasses and usually wear contacts so they dont have to be an everyday pair. im tempted to get something with color like the marc jacobs or maybe some purple ones.

haha, i use the "geek glasses" trend if i just want to go out in disguise. if i want to go into town, but don't want to run into any of my friends. they totally alter my look so nobody cares to recongnize.

my boyfriend has a pair of Dior Homme glasses and they're geeky in a very adorable way but he NEVER wears them... always keeps his contacts in
but they're def geek chic hehe which i love!

I thought about this thread after seeing a show for the first time- "Ugly Betty." I joke that Betty Suarez in the hit ABC show kind of reminds me of some dorky/geeky girls whom I've been classmates with. Some of the models I've seen on the first page don't look geeky. In fact, the models are lovely. The glasses also kind of remind me of some female characters in Anime for some reason. No exact characters, but I thought of female characters with big glasses. From video games, I can think of Lucca from one of the all-time best RPGs: Chrono Trigger. Logic would be that if ladies are purchasing the huge sunglasses, why not regular glasses? I'm not big on those bug-eye glasses in any sort of way. They are okay on some ladies, but not truly necessary unless you actually need the varied protection (or unless you want a bad tan).
