I remember people here speculating about this photo, if I remember correctly people believed it was either just the lighting that made her tear up or if she really was crying it was most likely from exhaustion

I think you are right about the exhaustion & the lights. The image was from the Fall 2005 Ready-to-Wear J. Mendel show.

In her Vogue fashion week diaries she mentions that during a show (Maxmara to be exact) that her "eyes start burning from the bright lights. I have reached that point when exhaustion is no longer able to define my sense of mind" - Gemma Ward from Vogue Australia December 2005.

as much I love seeing Gemma's pics, is it really necessary to post her old pictures that were cropped and turned b/w?
We all miss her but I rather check this thread for any updates about her life/career. Sometimes silence is golden.

I'm not. I love seeing pictures of Gemma just as any person in here but I'm always looking forward to updates rather than reposts.

was shot by Craig McDean, if I recall correctly. Gem had only one shot in the editorial.
