it was rumored during her exit from modeling that IMG refused to promote her as a model unless she adhered to their standards, and that she was having a hard time getting booked anyway. So this does not surprise me at all. I just hope that she herself is happy, is taking care of herself, and is full of self confidence. there are more important things in the world than modeling.

Just saw a Great Gatsby tv spot on TV just now...Gemma in it, and I think and she spoke. Don't recall what was said though, and I can't find the spot on the internet yet.

I wonder if she'll attend the Gatsby premiere?

Just saw a Great Gatsby tv spot on TV just now...Gemma in it, and I think and she spoke. Don't recall what was said though, and I can't find the spot on the internet yet.

I wonder if she'll attend the Gatsby premiere?

There's a few up on youtube now, but I don't see her in it clearly. I'm hoping she got more than a 'single line in a party scene' kind of role.

I do hope that Gemma has more than a single line in The Great Gatsby. I can see her as a good actress but I also miss her a lot in the fashion world.

Nope it wasn't either of those spots, it was a super new one. And she did speak, can't remember what she said though, it was short.

The Australian has bagged the role of Catherine, sister of Myrtle Wilson (aka: Tom Buchanan’s bonkers mistress), who is played by red-head actress Isla Fisher. Catherine is described in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel as looking like her sister thanks to a ‘solid, sticky bob of red hair’ to match her ‘complexion powdered milky white’ - and although the models’s stuck to her natural blonde locks, her ethereal beauty is the perfect fit for the story’s retro world.

That's not true anymore. Adelaide Clemens plays Catherine now (as credited on IMDB and mentioned in interviews).

Gemma is just "Languid Girl" now. I really hope we see her for at least a couple of scenes.

I haven't seen anyone matching her looks as a blonde in any of the trailers. The only woman I have seen that is 'languid' is sitting in a chair near Carey Mulligan in the scene where Leo grabs Joel by the neck, screaming. She's got a dark bob though.
