I just got back from seeing The Ugly One and I really loved it. I thought Gemma was much better than the main guy, but the other two were outstanding and did outshine her a little. It was really interesting seeing her flat on her back, with her legs in the air and a half naked man on top of her. Quite unexpected, but hilarious.

I was speaking to a tfs-er last night about her performance in The Strangers. Does she actually do anything, or is Gemma stuck behind a mask the whole time?

Gemma was impressively good. I was really blown away. Very natural.

I didn't like her character but because I didn't, that just proves what a convincing job she did with her role.
