Its not surprising she wasn't at Chanel. Wasn't it Karl's people who started criticizing her? Maybe we'll see her at Valentino or Vuitton!! And Gemma difficult or having an ego?!! I've heard the opposite!

Lol her "ego and difficult conduct" were not really a feature of Gemma's earlier career, it seemed to me most people in the industry totally loved her or she never would have been such a success.

Not surprised she wasn't at Chanel either, remember her comment last time she walked about them needing to make the clothes bigger? I always admired her for speaking up about that, but you better believe Karl didn't like it, or that it was reported on.

I don't think she ever had a reputation for being difficult. She was pretty well-loved. I do, however, think that towards the end she was just exhausted of the fashion cycle, was maybe partying too much and Heath's death made her less willing to put up with certain industry BS. At the time, I remember her wanting to take a season off and then suddenly her fashion "friends" sort of turned their back on her and went to the next thing. I would feel pretty frustrated and hurt by that myself. I'm so happy that she's (possibly) back and I hope that this time she can do things on her own terms.

You "can't stand" it? It really wasn't "quite clear", it's not like it was confirmed anywhere that she was exclusive, and IMG said "stay tuned" so everyone clung to that hoping it meant she'd walk elsewhere.

And what do you expect when she's been totally absent for so many years and then randomly appears at Prada? Of course people want to see her elsewhere as quickly as possible, rather than just a few photos from the Prada show and then nothing again for months.
