As much as I love her Gemma just doesn't really have very good personal style

I'm not sure the MET is the best example of her personal style. Usually I enjoy what she puts on herself, but for an event like this wouldn't the designer have selected what he wanted her to wear? It's not like she would have said "nah, don't like that one MK, send me another one," you know?

I agree that the dress should have been more form fitting. She's got a tiny waist, show it off!

I will say that Gemma not looking her best still beats the majority of the other people there who looked their best.

Why Gemma did not wear Prada is a mystery to me? Ward is still one of the most stunning girls in the world and it would have been great to see her go high drama for the MET regardless it is a huge pleasure to see her there!

Judging by Gemma's appearance at the Met, I don't really see a cover coming, though I'd love to be wrong.

Emily Blunt & Kerry Washington wore Prada although Miuccia did not attend. Kors dressed lots of guests on theme but Gemma's dress seemed like a cast off. Hoping there's more in store for Ward while she's in NYC?!

Judging from how uninspired the dress was, it seems that maybe she was in New York for some other reason and was invited to the Met at the last minute, resulting in a last minute dress choice...maybe?

Unfortunately I don't think a VI cover is coming anytime soon. I feel like if it were to happen, it would have been the March issue. Perhaps it's just Miuccia who still loves her and not Meisel. All just speculation, of course.
