I am very sad to tell everyone that our dear friend Tierney, who was a cornerstone of this thread and a tFS regular, has passed away...She was a sweet and wonderful young lady- the shock and sadness are overwhelming right now....Most of the details have not been disclosed...

Anyone every heard Darryl Hickman Leave Her To Heaven commentary...He played the boy Gene watch Drown...Well his Commentary is harsh and spiteful. He says alot of mean things about Gene, like she isn't a good actor, she wasn't extra friendly with the cast...Gene was battling Mental Illness at the time,I wish they left Hickman commentary off the DVD.His perpeception of Gene might not even be true, I wonder if he had a crush on her.He said Harsh things about other cast and crew mates

He also talked harshly about her when he was on TCM. I am not so sure Gene was mentally ill at the time and if she was mean, well we are all not saints, are we? Not everyone is going to like Gene or have nice things to say about her.

Hickman strikes me as a constant whiner..he whined about everything the director, Jean Craine,Cornel Wilde, the fact they he had to swim in the lake when it was cold..I was like please, just shutup, and the historian who was the second commentator, just ignore him and talk about the movie plot, he complains way too much for it to be normal or even reliable.Also Gene was dealing with her daughter retardation and deafness at the time, so if she wasn't Little Miss Sunshine with him..he needs to over himself.
