General Gucci Questions

i dont think gluing would work, because the whole interior was like that....i think i'd have to replace it altogether or something. i have another vintage gucci in the yellow and he outside started doing that too....so sad! because otherwise they'd be fine!

does anyone know the style of the older gucci bags with two handles and a gucci clasp in the front. the one jennifer lopez carries in the wedding planner when she gets her shoe stuck? They use to be made every season... in different colors

Help! What is the Gucci bag that I'm thinking of?

Ok- I"m thinking it is either vintage or from this past spring. it is big and white- either canvas and leather. More slouchy then structured- I think (can't remember). It has the red/green stripe ribbon down the middle, and the huge interlocking G's logo in the middle- the circle one. It can be worn on the shoulder- maybe, just maybe, it has some bamboo in the handle? Can't be positive on the bamboo.

It kind of has this shape, but with a longer handle and white:

I think I may know which bag it is. Does it have a long shoulder strap? and is the whole bag leather except for the red and green stripe? A zipper closure at the top? with the big gold g's on the front on top of the stripes? And its a very large bag kinda shaped like the first bag but more sturdy and rounded at the bottom, and cost about $1000 or more? if it is I can see if I can get some info on it because my friend owns one

that style is actually called the "blondie," several of us were dying to get our hands on it...it was originally a f/w 2004 bag that came in black, purple and green with silver or gold ggs. they released a similar style in s/s 05 with enamel gg's (pic from the thread above; it's lilygirl's bag

i'd check ebay for the original one...
