While it isn't exactly the freshest collection from him it is divine. Classic 60's luxe minimalism that he seems to do so well. Almost every piece is stunning on it's own.
Lacks any sort of cohesiveness I didn't understand who this collection was trying to target (seemed like a pathetic grasp at any and every woman), or find it appealing, at all.
Although he's got this explosion of styles and silhouettes in the collection, it stil leaves me emotionless. The focal point is missing. Especially going from the white romantic, to the sharp black and kimono cherry blossom print.
Anyone else feel like he's been doing the same collection for the past couple seasons? It's all the same shapes, shift dresses, draped pieces, and color blocking. I miss when he did over the top romantic collections like spring 2009 or spring 2007.
Individual pieces look gorgeous but as a collection, I don't find it cohesive. And to be honest, some of them strangely reminded me of Chanel, Prada, and even ODLR. Nonetheless, I guess designers and even consumers are just tired of trends.
