Good clothes from Mr. Valli as usual, but can someone explain the hair & make-up...?

This is so pretty & fresh. That last gown is so unique. I'm glad to see him bring some couture elements back into his mainline.

How is this man not the creative director of Valentino..No shade here, just wondering.

EXACTLY !!! It's been quite time now that everytime I see one of his collections and especially his last couture show, I wonder why he doesn't design for Valention.

He has the perfect skills to make commercial and extremely chic clothes at the same time. And I'm sure that stunning red dress would make Mr. Valentino proud.

^I think there's much more to Valentino than designing clothing in red. I'm not saying that the current duo at Valentino's designs are a great imitation of Valentino's own designs, but I still see Valli and Valentino's aesthetics to be quite different.

This is a nice collection but I don't think it's up to Valli's normal standards. I think a bit too much of it looks like middle class department store rack filler, but maybe that's what sells. Or maybe it's just the setting of the photos that's giving me that impression.

just give this man the place at valentino and let's get it over with. i'm really disliking the prints here by the way and it's overally very boring

the dresses are pretty, but those pants would be unflattering on anyone under 40... and aging on anyone over 40.

I like the deep wine coloured dress at the top of #4 for its simplicity; some of the prints are too busy.

I effin adore it ... its femenine but not too twee ... it looks modern but lovely.

Season after season, he grows on me

Giambattista Valli has found his key silhouettes and go-to clothing, now all he needs to do is swap the prints and maybe the colours around a little bit and it's something vaguely different for resort.
