Giambattista Valli S/S 2014 Paris

This is the ugliest color palette I've ever seen from him. It's nice to see him finally experiment with different silhouettes again, but those colors....:ninja:

I found some of these pieces to be very unflattering... who wants a bunch of ruffles on the hips that make slender models look strange?

i love it, he never disappoints! the details are sooo pretty

His collections have become quite monotone and redundant, I mean there's a whole world of references outside from the botanical ones. Instead, he's always flowers flowers flowers. I miss his older collections where he showed his dark side and used to experiment much more.

I do miss when he was a little darker, I still think it's a pretty collection just wish it was a little less soft. I miss Valli with an edge.

This is beautiful, soft and feminine. One of my faves this season.

Repulsive for the most part. Those skirts with the added bunches of fabric are uncalled for.

Bloody hell more peplum shorts.
How sad that Valli could be seen as copying Wang.
Not a fan of this at all.

I can't remember a Valli collection ever being this bad. Everything is stiff and awkward.

Peplum, crop tops. sheer everything, visible underwear... Mostly every other (credible) designer has stopped incorporating these hackneyed trends into their collections; it's time for you to do that now, Valli.

That first kind of skort, curved mini-skirt is interesting. But this is the first time in a long while I find his work bad. This looks stiff and very uninspired. It seems like he was trying to show restraint or clean things up a but, but it just did not work, at all. How sad.

Exactly. This is the first time in a while that I don't like a collection from him.

The colour palette coupled with the makeup is awful. The models look like they're about to keel over. Some of the designs are interesting, but unfortunately this just fails to impress.
