Loved her dress at the MET Gala.

I think the hair and makeup let her down, though. And it did feel to me a bit like the dress was wearing her, instead of the other way around. Hard to describe - but like, that dress is pretty spectacular. Look at the detailing! It should've been one of the best of the night, and on the right person, I think it could have been.

No tea no shade to Gigi, I adore her and think she's wonderful. But there's a kind of fierce confidence and poise and stature that's required to pull off a gown like this and she's not serving it here.

Picture that gown on Lupita N'Yongo or Nicole Kidman or Karolina Kurkova. They can bring the drama and attitude to compliment a gown like this.
