For resort, Giorgio Armani concentrated on lightweight, luxurious fabrics, such as shiny silk and organza, for a collection of feminine, deconstructed looks. Fluid dresses took center stage, including a jacquard gauze cutaway style trimmed with macramé lace and an organza frock embroidered with allover laser-cut silk micro flowers.
Armani also added a more metropolitan feel to the clothes, best demonstrated with a long, masculine blazer paired with Bermuda shorts, and a woven cotton jacket that had a denim effect and worn over an organza sweater and silk skirt.
