August 23, 2006 -- NOT only is Gisele Bundchen an Amazonian beauty, she's rich, rich, rich! The highest-paid supermodel in the industry (according to Forbes) raked in $30 million last year. Now, Bundchen has signed three big deals - with Mexico's Liverpool stores, Italy's Stefanel and Korean-based Tug. Further buzz is that she's currently in talks to become the face of a famous jewelry brand and possibly the de signer of her own jewelry collec tion. Bundchen is now in Porto Alegre, Brazil, visiting her sis ter Raquel, who just gave birth to a baby girl, Eduarda Bundchen Borges. She'll next fly to Sao Paolo to shoot a Nivea commercial. Reps from IMG had no comment.

she's without exception THE most international model. her contracts are with companies all over the planet, and not just with clothing. she has contracts with Apple computers, and with Nivea and who knows what else. She's making more than DOUBLE the amount of money of the next most prominent model (Kate Moss). (Tyra's money I wouldn't count, since it comes from TV shows now, instead of modelling).

what i love is that she's making an absurd amount of money, starring in an incredible amount of international campaigns for everything from computers to skincare to lingerie to sunglasses to luxury clothing to bloody credit cards ----- and unlike some other supermodels, NONE of gisele's success is coming from over-exposure of her personal life.

she's truly an icon!
