The dress is not up to my liking but wow she works it, looks super hot and I think it fits the theme too.

I actually don't think it fits the theme at all. I think it's best suited for last year's Gala or the Superhero's theme of 2008. This dress is a bit too, raunchy for my liking. I think the whole outfit, even her hair and makeup are best suited for an editorial rather than the red-carpet.

The whole shebang was sponsored by GAP (most usually, a high fashion brand partner the event) and Alexander Wang designed two gowns in woven leather, one worn by rapper M.I.A. as part of the special GAP collaboration. The other one was worn by Gisele Bundchen who paid the young designer the compliment of saying "I feel like I am in Brazil,"
