I always get the feeling that GZ does not have a designer, it has more like 50. From season to season and even within a season, the shoes never seem to have any particular style in common with each other. Some of them are really kind of plain, and some of the them are just the cheesiest shoes you could think of.
I tend to agree, Seraphelle. Every shoe is unique, but I kind of like that. Each one may match a different one of MY outfits/styles (Think softie's schizo-chic) and you don't get bored with GZ. Manolos, which I can take or leave but usually leave, always seem to have a subtly trendy, rich suburban housewife mentality. They can be nice, but not very quirky.
I love quite a few of the ones TheSweetest posted...especially the ones with the little buckles in the first post...
so sophisticated!!
i have not bought GZs before, so i was wondering what experiences you guys can share......are they wearable and comfortable? 'cause some of them really look like killer shoes.... (the too-sophisticated ones...)
I really like those white boots with the wedge/heel. Paris had them in this peachy type color, and they were also on neiman's or sak's website, but in an ankle version which I thought was cute.
Zanotti for me is hit or miss, some of his shoes are amazingly beautiful and then there are others that I find incredibly tacky...but I must say, I really like the majority of the ones posted so far.
i have these silver ones with crystal grapes attached to them... they are very uncomfortable but beautiful to look at. i think that is the case with a lot of zanottis.
btw - i don't post much here but wanted to contribute finally hello everybody!
