Goyard bags / luggage

Does anyone know the price of the tote in France? I assume it's cheaper there than in the US...

Hi!
here are the prices in France:
St Louis junior = 410 euros
St Louis PM = 470 euros
St Louis GM = 560 euros

So for the PM, which is the medium, more popular size, it's 470 euros = 580 $, whereas in the US the price is 785$.
Plus if you buy it in Paris and then go back outside the European union, you get VAT back, I think.

The St Louis featured in Goyard's webpage is the GM, isn't it? It looks nicer than the PM which looks more squarish on Barney's website.

Does anyone have the dimensions for the St Louis?

@vintagegurl: do you also happen to know the € price for the Urbain (messenger bag) and if it is big enough to fit an A4 magazine? (I guess it's not from what I've seen on the website, but one never knows...). And the price for the Okinawa tote and the 35 Duffel Bag? I guess I should simply write an e-mail to them, but my french is kinda crappy :ninja:

I'll visit Paris in mid July, finally a chance to see Goyard in real life ^_^

By the way is it easy to find the store on Rue Saint-Honoré? How big is it? Do they always have bags in stock? (like should I call them before I get there to make sure they have the sac Urbain?)

Yup, it's near Place Vendome, rue Faubourg st Honoré.
They don't have so much stock actually, you have to place an order most of the time.
I asked today about a St Louis PM and for instance the white would only be available in 1.5 months.
So I guess you could call before you come in Paris. The SAs are so nice in there!

I'm sorry i don't know the Urbain... but here are the dimensions for the different St Louis:
(when I want something I tend to be obsessive so I have all the info about them)

junior: 11.5X8X4
PM: 18.75X10.5X5.5
GM: 23X13X7.5
(inches)

I saw the junior today... it's teeny tiny. Super small.
I tried on the PM, it's about the size of a regular longchamps tote, and I was able to wear it on the shoulder, and I have big arms. Hurrah!
I didn't see the GM but it's so huge supposedly it looks more like an overnighter...
Now I only have to decide which color I should get :ninja:
I touched the canvas and you can just tell the quality of the craftsmanship... Swoony!

Did everyone hear that Bergdorf will be carrying Goyard now? ^_^

Anyone else find it strange to see so many green totes on ebay?

i didn't know either... but it just seems fishy...the photos are really bad...and what's that little leather tag hanging on the strap?? all the fakes usually have that. and get a load of the seller's other auctions...

Hopefully the less popular styles won't be faked too soon... damn, it was only a matter of time until that would happen:yuk:

OMG I will be so pissed off if they start making fakes!
I sent her an email asking for a pic of the interior and WTH was that little tag. We'll see what she says.

I've been typing in "Goyard" for years (mostly to see what mine would go for should I sell) and only once in a blue moon would there be a Goyard for sale. Now 3 of the same tote at the same time!

At least no fakes of the Jeanne or Comores yet!

btw, i don't think there's such a thing as fake goyard.

goyard isn't THAT well known at all.

in EUROPE, they only sell goyard at one place - the st. honore boutique.

in north america, they only sell goyard at 3 places: barneys, bergdorf and the san francisco boutique (the only goyard boutique outside paris)

in asia they sell at a few dept stores in japan and harvey nichols in hk.

i don't think they sell anywhere else...

Hi! I read your website from time to time^
I love your Croisières. The white one is stunning!
I really do hope there aren't any fakes out there, maybe the hanging tag was from Barneys? In Paris the bags don't have tags, the SA knows all the prices by heart, but I don't know about Barneys...

I guess as soon as something gets popular in the US (celebrities like jessica simpson carrying it would be enough) there are people who will fake it. think of how fast LVs Cerise line has been faked, it wouldn't take that long to fake a Goyard

By the way it's fun to see you on that board bryanboy. Especially because you can provide us with Goyard pics  ^_^

One question: out of the LV, Hèrmes and Goyards: which brand do you think has the highest quality? Also meaning survive the longest throughout years of getting worn/beaten up?
