Do you know that that last picture, post 1021. thank you Sensibility, turned out to be very controversial ? Correct me if I am wrong, but it was taken shortly after the assasination of President Kennedy, and was deemed unpatriotic and insensitive on the part of a revered actress, public figure and former U.S citizen (I don't know if she was allowed to keep 2 nationalities actually). And she was just participating in the Monaco fair, showing good will and maternal participation !
Aside : my daugther feels I am always overdressed (to go to Putt-Putt for example), but I've never been to Putt-Putt in a Chanel suit... (a jacket yes... just kidding)

Goyoaga, Sensibility, thank you for all the pictures, they are a real treat, and thank you, Sensibility for welcoming me on this thread. I actually was quite active on this thread in 2008. How time flies...
I like the pictures of Grace with her hair long and flowing: it was said that that's the way Prince Rainier liked her best, the more natural look. But apparently, Princess Grace liked to have her hair up because it made her look even taller than she was, and taller than anybody else; that's why she often added a hat or turban.
I wish chignons were still fashionable: they really do give a finished, polished look.

I agree and can show how Mathilde and Grace resembles so much....I will find the pic.

I think their faces are similar,specially the smile and teeth,and their factions.Both have sweet faces...Of course Grace is prettiest,but I think Mathilde resembles more Grace than Caroline and Stephanie...
Yes,sensibility,Mathilde needs more glamour,imo,but she is elegant too.
