i was talking to surzhoks because I like that picture Grace just looks so happy, and its nice to see pictures of her with her celebrity friends

Ava is beautiful but in a hard way. She was the kind of brunette with a lot of character in her face, who, as she grew older, developed a hard look on her face. Princess Grace never developed that hard look; if there was a fault, it was that she got a bit too soft, as anyone who ages naturally, a bit too round and puffy, but never hard.
The more I see all the beautiful pictures you are all so kind to post, the more I admire her. Other bondes (but who were originally brunettes) developed that hardness I am talking about : Catherine Deneuve, Brigitte Bardot.
I also think that for a while, Princess Grace made the most of the late sixties, early seventies fashion style, with her hair longer and beautifully done and short dresses, and she still had the right youthful figure for that style, but then she lost it and started wearing her hair in a braid around her face and wearing shapeless dresses. She must have been going through a rough spot in her life.

That was taken, at least it looks like it was taken in the early 60s and maybe in a foreign land. I love Grace, but I love Ava a bit more-and I think she may be more stunning than Grace in this pic. Even Grace is admiring her.

Jeanne, I like Ava more than Grace for a few reasons. She is a Capricorn like me, she is from the same area of North Carolina as my Gran was and I loved her personality. Yes, she lived hard and it showed, but she also lived by her rules and her rules alone. She was a good woman as well. I have never read of anyone having a harsh word to say about Ava.
