I just picked up ES magazine and saw this and thought it was pretty interesting.
Grayson Perry (female alter ego: Claire), the Turner Prize winning potter and transvestite was invited to Paris to draw a series of sketches at the couture shows. As the shows came to an end, he heard news of the London bombings on 7/7. As a result, his sketches took a dark turning and the models are thus shown pictured against a gritty London backdrop.
Perry: 'The theme is playing with the idea that fashion flirts with danger. But I'm not saying for a moment that there's any downside of dressing however you want.'

I love the juxtaposition of images. It's very thought provoking as fashion is often far removed from what's going on in the 'real' world and here the two collide.
