That's not her handwriting. It's a letter written to her. Greta said she had bad handwriting and that's why she didn't like signing autographs.

Recently, I had the opportunity to view "Anna Christie". And it was quite good. It stands the test of time and that is amazing in itself. I think it may have been her first "talkie". - I just happened upon this auction book & wanted to share it....
