Well, resolution by the end of the season doesn't guarantee continuity through next season..On the other point that we dare not spoil...hmm...I think that at least the character's staying power is contingent on fan appreciation. Dr. Addison Montgomery wasn't supposed to stay on the show as long as she did...which reminds me - is Private Practice still airing/taping?
 
^ Yes, the show is still airing/taping and will be back soon, but I'm not watching it anymore and haven't done so since the 3rd or 4th episode. :lol:
 
One more day. How freaking exciting. I am having a girls night at my apartment with my two best friends to watch it. I really have never been addicted or attached to a show besides Greys. :blush:
 
Caught an episode tonight that aired on TV.. back when Burke and Addison were still around. I gotta say, while I definitely miss Addison, I sort of miss Burke too. Maybe it's because I miss the way Grey's used to be, and Burke was a part of it. Either way, I'll be tuning in tomorrow! It's going to be an amazing night... LOST, Grey's and The Office!!! I know I'll be TiVo-ing something :blink:

I miss the way McDreamy used to make me feel :heart::ninja: IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!!!

but anyhoot! i miss burke, too, although, don't get me start about what isaiah did and how wrong it was. :innocent:
 
15 minutes. i am ready to cry because i am so excited. :cry: how lame-o of me.

i honestly just want to see them cut someone open. i am not getting enough of my surgery fix by watching re-runs of dr. 90210. :innocent:
 
Next week's episode looks so exciting! :woot: This one was sweet. I liked the whole theme. I wish it weren't so mellow though. I sure think that Hahn and Callie are going to end up being a couple. That'd be interesting. Cristinawould die. :rofl:

OH, COME ON. I SO CALLED IT.

it is so freaking obvious that cristina is jealous of erica and callie's friendship and is somewhat infatuated with erica because cristina, regardless of her personality, seems to go for those out of this world superior surgeons.
 
SIR, DON'T JOKE.

I never thought of Cristina being romantically involved with Erica though I don't doubt the possibility. It seems like she's more infatuated with the body of work Hahn does and wants to get close to her in that way rather than you know, the other. However Cristina does need some action right about now. Homegirl is getting rusty.

The thing Mer did to check if the guy has a tumor is pretty interesting!! I learn something from this show every time. :blush: How does it work exactly, anyone know? I tried it on myself, are you supposed to see the fingers out of the corner of your eyes or what! Because the guy didn't see them until they were right in front of his face and a bit farther.

^your peripheral vision should catch the fingers before the guy did. usually if you don't, that means there's either pressure or dead tissue on the right (?) side of the brain that controls visual processes. but don't quote me on that!

speaking of quotes. some of my favorites:

Izzie - "I don't need sex cuz this contest is my orgasm."

Also Izzie - "80 points for solving a medical mystery - it's the Holy Grail!"

Meredith - "He marries his rebound girl after 10 days. Who does that? I'm thinking brain tumor!"
 
I laughed so hard when they were running and Cristina just shoved Izzie out of the way. And it's so cute that Cristina is disinterested in surgeries if they're not say, BLOODY ENOUGH.
 
I couldn't help but laugh when George was looking around the apartment and pretty much killed every bug he saw. PETA might have a field day over this abuse to non-humans :innocent:

tumors are known to cause angle-closure glaucoma which is usually associated with an abnormal pressure in the eye that is linked to the brain. it eventually causes damage to one's optic nerve and can leave a person permanently blin and it's also linked to the malformation of the eye's drainage structure.

the reason why he couldn't see mer's fingers is because the angle-closure glaucoma that was caused by his hugenourmous brain tumor was destructing the angle structure where aqueous fluid drains from the eye. so basically, he just couldn't see at angles and if she wouldn't have detected the tumor, he would have eventually noticed if it he wasn't so out of it because with time he would have only been able to see things straight ahead of him. :flower:

Lexie's character is growing on me, but I just dont like Rose. Probably because she is so different compared to the other characters on the show
