Just a dumb observation:
In last night's episode, when Izzie and Cristina are eating lunch, I noticed that Izzie is drinking an Izze soda (it's like sparkling juice, you can get them at Starbucks). Haha, I don't know why I noticed but I'm sure they did that on purpose! :lol:
 
I love Izzie and i'm sad that she is leaving. I'm sorry to any Meredith fans out there, but that character is so boring, if she isn't hung up about her mother then she is having problems with Derek. Meredith has to much crap going on in her life, if i was her i would have booked myself into lunatic asylum a long time ago.
 
^i must agree to be honest. grey's anatomy it hasn't been.
 
^ I can't remember the last time Meredith actually dominated the program. For a long time now all the supporting cast have all had major storylines and all Meredith has, is her on going relationship with Derek with is rather tedious and boring now.
 
The storyline is kinda predictable. If Derek comes back to the hospital, he is going to operate on Izzie and the surgery will not fail for his own sake at least...So does that mean Izzie is going to live? I have a hard time believing Katherine Heigl is leaving.

Heard a rumor that there is a secret hidding in Mer's mother's diary. Also they are casting an actress to play Izzie's family.
 
^^ Never heard any of that before but i did hear that Izzie will survive surgery and it's George that will die.

Last night's episode was really good! The scene with Meredith and Derek in the elevator was beautiful, and I just loved this quote: "You say you're all dark and twisty; it's not a flaw, it's a strength. It makes you who you are." :heart:
I just loooove this show :flower:

Does anyone know when the next new ep will air?
 
Rumor has it, or so I've read at a few Grey's boards that... Izzie isn't leaving, or if she is, it's not any time soon. In fact, the Grey's wedding that razzi pictures are popping up of are supposed to be of their day on set for an Izzie/Alex wedding.
 
WOW! a killer promo! cant wait to see the next episode! my liking for owen hunt and izzie/alex storyline is keeping me with this series.
 
Read an interview a couple of days ago, Katherine Heigl said she wan't sure about her character's future. Personally she would like to stay but the decision rests with the show.
 
If she goes then we are left with Mer and Christina and they are bloody annoying. So i hope she stays.
 
It was really strange, I shadowed someone doing their residency at the VA hospital in North Hills for school, and I was told that is where they shoot some scenes for Gray's anatomy, and I was walking around and realized they were totally right! All the things looked familiar. Very strange.
 
Some spoilers!

When Anatomy finally comes back April 23—shock of shocks—George gets a storyline. Yes, our boy George once again one-ups Alex (remember the heart surgery in the elevator?) when Alex freaks out in the middle of a trauma (understandable given that his girlfriend is, like, dying). And as reported by Shonda Rhimes herself, Derek and Mer are supposed to be getting married in the upcoming 100th episode, and Izzie's dying wish is to give them the wedding she may or may not be able to ever have herself. (Sad face.) P.S. At this point, our best guesstimate on the finale is that Izzie goes into remission (but the producers keep Katherine Heigl in line with the threat of new malignancies), while George joins the Army medical corps, sending him into the sunset in a way that keeps him available for sweeps-week guest spots if they can afford his fee. What's your theory of the crime?

From AA: Shonda Rhimes said the 100th episode of Grey's Anatomy takes place on Mer and Der's wedding day, but you said they're not getting married. What's the deal? --Claire
Ausiello: Do I have to remind you of Shonda's long and well-documented history of injecting her spoilers with tricky and misleading wordplay? Case in point, Izzie doesn't have a brain tumor, she has a brain metastasis. Here's the deal: Unless the script underwent an 11th hour rewrite, I stand by my earlier statement that Mer and Der do not get married on May 7. The only thing I'm unsure of is whether or not I should reveal the name of the bride and groom who are tying the knot in that episode. I'm on the fence about that one. What do you think I should do? Submit your pro/con arguments in the comments section. I'll get one of our interns or Annie Barrett to tally up the votes at the end of the day.

When parents collide! Thatcher Grey and Sharon Lawrence as Izzie's mom are both slated to appear in the April 30 episode, which was written by Anatomy maestro Krista Vernoff. And the two men in Ellis Grey's life (the Chief and Thatcher Grey) finally kinda throw down, and Izzie turns out to be a chip off the old block. Her mom, Robbie, is extremely chipper, like a less evil Tracy Flick. Seriously, bring a Kleenex box to this ep, because we're all gonna cry. BTW, the biggest rumor in rumorville right now is that it's not Mer and Der who get married, but Alex and deathbed Izzie. Cross your fingers, Alex-Iz fans!
 
i love this show but i hate meredith grey..:rolleyes: and its so frustrating knowing she'll always be in the show.
 
For some reason I've never found Meredith to be annoying. She's probably my favorite person on the show, next to Derek and Mark.

I absolutey cannot wait for the new episode on Thursday!
