Guess? Cool or uncool?

The last time I owned something Guess was back in the early 90's when I was like 5... I think they are tacky, and frankly, I don't really understand why they are still in business. I don't know anyone who buys their stuff.

Same here. I don't know anyone that buys their stuff yet Guess is still in business and selling over priced clothing.

I worked at Marciano for a few months..some items were unbelieveably lacking class. Even those crazy bras, the colours they use sometimes are disturbing. Some items are ok, from time to time they have cute dresses and some shoes. I could never find anything I liked in Guess. I think they are targeting High School market the most so it's hard to find stuff for everyone

Guess is cool for Teenagers based on my own opinion. Kookai looks better for young women...

i admit that back in the day, i had guess? jeans with the patch on the back pocket. it was pretty cool.... like 15 years ago! lol
the label is really targeted towards a younger junior high/high school audience.

Guess was awesomely hot. When I was in fourth grade.

ETA: Since I'm mocking Guess, I should probably 'fess up and say that I have a very cute Guess watch someone bought for me years ago. It's a very unusual (both in color and style) and I get a lot of compliments on it, even after people see the Guess logo . But the things that make a small accessory stand out in a good way (bright colors, loud designs) are also what make so many of their clothes tacky.

Guess is surprisingly unpopular in The US. It's much more popular in Australia and Asian countries.
I personally have a pair of jeans from 5 years ago which are really flattering. They are inexpensive, but the quality usually is pretty bad though, expecially for jackets.

I must agree for the most part Guess is fairly tacky. But recently I did get a cute necklace from there and an okay black shirt. But that's like with every brand, sometimes there's nice stuff and sometimes there isn't. Just the proportions of good to bad can be different.

I like how it is affordable, but at the same time I hate how it sometimes looks cheap. The style of clothes come off as an expensive version of American Eagle.

Although I hate their logo tees with a burning passion, some of their sweaters and coats are cool.

Okay, I know you guys all think it's uncool and tacky and sl*tty and whatever, but I think if you have a sense of decency and style you can shop anywhere and pick out the best stuff. I would never buy anything with the logos all over it. I agree some of their stuff is sl*tty (and a lot of the people that shop there are too!) but I've picked up some dresses and skirts and tops for this spring/summer which I think are cute and not sl*tty at all. There's also a knee-length white skirt I can't find a picture of that I'll wear with the white/yellow top and the white cropped sweater is for wearing over the dresses and the top and pretty much anything else.

For an example, here's me wearing some of this stuff, note how I don't look sl*tty! Also note that my messy apartment behind me has been blacked out, too embarrassing. I think I might get the sweater in yellow too and wear it instead of the white one here, this outfit seems to have too much white, even for summer.

I also like some of their swimwear, though not from this year.
