The Autumn 1997 issue of Dutch magazine featured a very lengthy tribute to Guy Bourdin, with a bio, interviews, and of course, pictures. I've scanned all of the photos from the issue, with the exception of those that spanned two pages. (It's a shame to have to leave them out because a lot of them are remarkable and iconic images, but I simply don't think the page breaks would do them justice.)

Last bit...the magazine credits read, "the selected photographs in these guest pages first appeared in, or were related to, Vogue Paris, Charles Jourdan campaigns, and/or Bozz Scaggs record covers." No dates of publication, unfortunately...

Although I'm a bit OT here, since this is the Bourdin thread, I really think a lot of photographers don't even know, or recognize, that Newton did his very best photography for Vogue. All his work is great, but oh when he worked with the fashion editors, he must have gotten so much inspiration from being around them. I think he was the ultimate fashion photographer - being able to actually take the ideas of editors and improving on their vision of the clothing while retaining his own style.

Does anyone know of any Bourdin interviews? I have no idea what drove him, but perhaps its better that way, really, not knowing is often better

In Purple f/w 2005-06, there's an itw of Nicolle Meyer his muse. I'll make photos.

For the 67 polaroids, I cannot find it neither! so baaaad!

In the book I own, there are some texts (not written by himself but about him) and something like 15polaroïds

oops, sorry. It's a mistake, but I don't think you can't read it, don't forget you have a lot of french or latin word in english.

^i have to partially agree with you on that... but i personally also took french in school for something like 7 years.. so i tend to forget where my level of understanding begins and that of others ends...
so just because i understood your post doesn't mean that everyone else does as well

also, the whole language thing is in the guidelines so it's something we need to enforce...
