I don't know...I don't really think it's the same...I mean those people had real education in fashion and art. Even if they take inspirations from other designers, their decisions/shows/cuts of the clothes were at least kinda unexpected(...well at first). However, if GS does the things she praises about all the time then it'll be kinda expected and unnecessary...no?
