Bazaar Korea wavers from decent highend department store catalogue to strong, smouldering sensuality, like with this issue’s coverstory: A Korean model like Io, who much like Sora, doesn’t resemble the typical cookie-cutter Kpop-factory doll face. Advertorials-galore aside, they maintain such a strong national and cultural identity that, for outsiders looking in, you instantly gets what modern South Korean culture is like— from their Kpop looksmaxxing infestation that’s their standard in any of their fashion publications, too their film stars whom all possess a similar face, to the robust fashion contents— but elevated. Still wouldn't rank Korea worthy next to her French and Italian sisters, but an issue like this one absolutely is a close contender.
