Harper's Bazaar Art Russia May 2013 : Natalia, Naomi & Lara by Marc Quinn

No, I don't like these covers at all, they seem dirty. Lara is scary!

OMG! MAYBE ok for the 2 first covers, but Lara's is HORRIBLE! So unflattering! Natalia is fine, but even Naomi looks like she can't breath and needs desperately to finish the session... Desperate spring??? OMG!

Lara really does look scary. The other two just barely pull it off.

Well, I would think to really understand and get the full effect of the cover, one would have to be familiar with Marc Quinn as an artist. I did a quick search and it looks as though he does mainly sculptural work and some still lifes including complex arrangements of flowers.

They aren't 'pretty' covers and I don't think 'pretty' was a point to begin with, but I also don't find them to be so artistic..especially how it looks as if each model is self-imploding. I could totally see it appealing to the Russian market. I've always thought they have very acquired taste in pretty much everything..

It sorta feels deja vu in many ways, with the multiple covers in this style with an 'icon' cast just like M&M's previous W Magazine featuring Lara, Natalia and Kate.

yeah for me none of them work at all. It's forced, they want to make it artsy but forgot about the beauty side.

it's weird..naomi's is the best but they are all so strange and i hate the colours used

i wouldnt mind them if the teeth/lips didnt look so scary
