Harper's Bazaar Australia April 2016 : Natalie Portman by Alique

What is going on with that thumb on the lips pose Trend? Is that a new thing?

Feels like Elle Germany

I don´t feel anything from that cover, and where have they seen covermodels not looking at the readers? This shot looks like a backstage shot, like the photographer was talking to her and she was like ``What?´´and the styling and hair is very poor. Not good. They are usually good at producing covers, this is just not one of them.

this one is actually an Dior outtake so, I guess that's why.
not a good choice for a cover.

There are pics on that set that work better as a cover, they chose the worst imo...

I actually kind of like this. Then again I'm so bored with most covers now that anything different appeals, and I like that she's not looking at the camera, trying to seduce the viewer into buying the magazine.

I've always been a Vogue Aus reader rather than Harper's Bazaar Aus, but lately I've actually been tempted to buy Harper's.

Basically at some point whilst procrastinating about uni work I'll go and actually read some recent back issues. I've generally preferred the quality of the written articles in Vogue - if Harpers is better AND the eds are better/more artistic and fashionable, I may be tempted to switch.

Any of the double page shots would've made a better cover. How does this work, did they get the images for free? Can't imagine Dior would charge them when they'll benefit from free advertising.

Must say their art direction actually looks good now.

She looks sexy. Who knew Natalie Portman could do sexy?! Ya learn something new everyday.
