Too much shadow & eyeliner, Daria looks like a panda bear & make it a ugly cover. The eds are fine.

It would be much much better if they would not use too much makeup/photoshop on her eyes...

What a bold cover. Love it. It shouldn't work but it does. Despite the big smile - or maybe because of - it's so agressive and in your face. Can't quite put my finger on what it is but the whole thing is really striking.

This is such a cool cover, I really love it. I bet it stands out on newsstand. I am also very happy to see Daria.

However, I think it should be illegal or something to give a model a cover, but not an editorial. It is false advertising and it doesn't make any sense. Most of the time I buy magazines because of models and I want to see more of them. If the model is good enough to be put on cover to sell magazines, why not give her more pages inside?

Because it costs. A lot. That way (Germany fashion magazine are notorious for that, for example!) magazine's editors get it all - a duped buyers and the money in the pocket.

However, I totally sympathize with you - it really sucks being tricked like that over and over again.

No way I would have recognized Daria ! It is so unusual to see her with that much make-up ^^ It doesn't look that bad, it is just very very different. Otherwise it is a very good issue, Pastel and Burning Desire are very good.
