^ I think you're right. The lack of one eye and the other being a bit wide combined with her open mouth is also sort of...unsettling. Like she's having an asthma attack. I usually like Milla, but this doesn't do it for me at all.

For me it's the mouth area - the right side of her face seems strange. And the haircut seems incredibly dated.
But I love Milla and the idea is beautiful.

It's quite an unsettling image, mysterious and dark but I think that's down to the wine-stained lip and early 20th century styling. It's pretty and ugly at the same time
