Katja is so dreamy Her editorial is breathtaking.

Shame about the reprints though, Russia is such an important and influential market you'd think that there would be more original fashion content coming out to reflect that in the big magazines like Bazaar. Fingers crossed that the powers that be at Bazaar Russia get the message.

fashion magazines in russia are very young (vogue rus is about only 10 years old) and our public have less exquisite requirements to what the fasion mag should look like than in europe and usa, so it much more easier and cheaper to use reprints than to do own shoots. In fact, there's no magazine who can provide a high quality content in magz without using reprints except maybe russian vogue, and the general problem is the lack of money and low demand on such production + high competition with such trashy magz such cosmo, glamour etc.

I do like the original content that is being generated and I'm quite eager to see more of it, all these editorials that you've shared with us have been lovely. I'm sure that in time as the magazines become more prominent there will be a decrease in the amount of reprints.

i doubt a lot of people in russia buy foreign editions of the same magazines such as Vogue, Harper's or L'officiel or read TFS, nobody cares about re-prints if they only see them in one magazine
