Vauthier has been removed from the schedule, for some unknown reason. First thing I noticed when updating this thread with the official schedule earlier today...

Schiaparelli has been so overrated these day

I think that the appeal of Roseberry's Schiaparelli lies in the fact that it's the only brand to fill the "grandiose maximalist" gap that has been left open by Galliano and Lacroix for a whole decade.

Next the bland conservative houses (Dior, Chanel, Fendi, Armani), the pretty princess tribe (Valentino, Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Giambattista Valli), Schiaparelli feels like a breath of superficially fresh air to most fashion fans.

The absence of Vauthier on the calendar and lack of communication as to why is a bit depressing, considering that he has become my favourite working couturier in the last 3 years. I hope that it's not because of anything too serious.

Whether or not we'll actually get to see the collection is unknown.
