Health Food Beginner

I have more of an issue with nutella but it's not as cheap as peanut butter which is around more often. Maybe I'm better off that way since I don't like peanut butter very much and won't be eating spoonfuls of it.
 
Ahhh peanut butter, my nemesis but oh how I love it so! I've given it up for lent along with anything chocolate related. I've tried spreading butter on bread and then sprinkling peanuts on top but its just not the same.

Anyone have any tips on eating healthily on a tight budget? My food spending is just relentless!

regarding avocados I love them in an open sandwich - bread with sliced avocado and bacon piled on top and salad on the side its delicious!
