Streit always brings some top models as special guests to Fashion With Compassion. This year it was 18-year-old rising fashion model star, Heather Marks, and Canada's Next Top Model host, Kim Renneberg.


Heather, making a million dollars a year, is a Victoria's Secret top model and will be the "new face" of Revlon.


"I discovered her in Calgary when she was 11," says Kelly. "As soon as she was out of braces at 14, she was on a plane with her mom for a Flair photo shoot."


Streit has always worked only with Alberta models. "We discover them, nurture them until they are ready. It builds enduring trust."

I can't wait to see the Revlon pics.

A million dollars....it's a pretty decent sum. I wonder how much Revlon pays models.

Hey, TGA, they don't have VS here.....can you only get the catalogue by mail or is it something you pick up in store...I know one of my friends gets the catalogue sent to her, but i keep forgetting to ask her how she got it

We get catalogues but that's probably because my mom orders from them (yah, my mom's cool AND hot ). I'll be on the look out

i know someone who is very close to heather..and they said that heather is very careful to save her money
but he also said that she has her own cottage at home, 2 cars, a boat...etc

think of all the work shes done, how many seasons shes been around..and think of how much it adds up

a smaller designer campaign can pay around 10 000 a day x a few days PLUS the usage

imagine how much the BIG designer campaigns make her- example: ann taylor, anna sui, armani, cacharel, calvin klein, christian lacroix, daks, d & g, h&m, Just Cavalli, Kenzo, Lee Jeans, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Lida Baday, Moschino: Cheap and Chic, Samsung, Sportmax, Adidas, the gap, REVLON

that just names a few...and many of these ads she's done for multiple seasons


then theres the big clients that LOVE her-> Neiman Marcus, Saks, holt renfrew, victorias secret..major department store catalogues= $$$$$$$$ 10 000 a day, very often

then theres the shows..where she does quite well each season..she doesnt do too badly there

...so after i rambled on forever there...its easy to see that heather obviously makes a good million dollars each year

Hmmm, when you put it into that perspective, it doesnt sound too off. Although some high fashion designers are known to pay almost nothing for new girls (ie D&G) , her re-appearing in their campaigns must warrant more $$. Ahh, good for her, shes set for the future.

i'm as suprised as you all never saw her on a VS show or whatsoever. Since she's only 18

my agent told me that on the neiman marcus catalog shoot she made over 300 000 dollars per day. american. I'm absolutly positive she makes more than a million a year.
