Of course Celine is overpriced, this is "luxury" clothing we're talking about, but I'm looking and that Uniqlo cut is not doing it for me. And innovation to make 99% cotton denim more stretchy than usual is not going to impress most denim enthusiasts.
That's fine by me. I chime in to explain my perspective, but I have no particular interest in convincing anyone to share my tastes.I would never prioritize the purchase of luxury denim.
stop coming at me with your facts and logic please š¤š» itās called being a hypocrite I can say whatever I want and also disparage other people itās a win-winThatās Anthonyās SLā which is reliably midrange, just like his haircut, Tyrone.
Hedi would never.
Because majority of the world are blessed to have skinny long legs.I think the REAL reason why people love Hedi's denim is often they just fit a skinny, taller body better than most brands
Tangentially, I'm curious how cotton/silk jeans wear compared to all (or 98% š) cotton denim. Can you machine wash them, or hand wash in cold water? Do they stretch over time at stress points? Do they shrink noticeably after washing or drycleaning? Do they fade?
A person doesn't need to be that tall or skinny to get the effect of Hedi cut skinny jeans. The "chopstick" cut itself goes a long way to creating that silhouette for you. Which is not to suggest Hedi is the only one capable of cutting that silhouette.
This is how I feel about purses tbh. It takes a minimum of craftsmanship, design, and quality to make something that will carry my stuff securely and comfortably. Beyond that they don't hold my attention. But I figure people who actively appreciate bags and leather goods see the same variety and self-indulgent detail when they look at purses that I do when I look at tailoring or denim.Oh how fashion have declined to a pair of jeans.
For better or worse I do remember the 90s, yes.have you heard of diesel
Drycleaning, with very little, barely noticeable, shrinkage or fading, but to be honest they are not that old and I alternate a lot between them.Tangentially, I'm curious how cotton/silk jeans wear compared to all (or 98% š) cotton denim. Yes, he wanted a total vintage copy. But I canĀ“t understand how people can be more scandalized by bare-breast than smoking.as much as i hate smokers the smell etc ...people been smoking for centuries regardless of the cool factor promoted since the silverscreen years
with so much dumbing down of culture & sameness, i found the smoking in the video the most daring part and representing that disco era and naive hedonistic freedom with the head dress ..
i would argue without the smoking it would feel more now and average and less vintage and i guess he wanted it be more vintage as usual
Intriguing.... Thank you!Drycleaning, with very little, barely noticeable, shrinkage or fading, but to be honest they are not that old and I alternate a lot between them.
And they have a waistband curtain inside the belt, like on regular wool or cotton trousers, that I have not seen on any other denim, and which is another reason why I would not try machine washing, to avoid color tranfers.
I'm not rolling my eyes because I'm scandalized. But I canĀ“t understand how people can be more scandalized by bare-breast than smoking.
