Hedi Slimane - Designer

Hedi gets people going.

That guy is just a fashion victim. Picked the worst Pharell pieces, the SA saw him coming and knew he got someone for that python monstrosity...

One could say Celine ceased to exist the moment Hedi left. I’m unconcerned with whatever they’ve churned out now.

Let me go on and say it to get it out of the way:

HEDI SLIMANE for Mugler ???
HEDI SLIMANE for Gucci ???

Hilarious. Buying Matthieu Blazy out of Bottega Veneta when you are Chanel is not the same as buying out Hedi Slimane coming out of a 10M + advantages contract + non compete when you are Gucci experiencing a financial downturn.

And judging by the current CEO, it will be a war of ego.
If the man decides to set his Studio back in LA, what are they going to do?

Those publications needs to do a better job at analyzing the industry.
Not mentioning the legal battle Hedi had with Kering is almost a fault.

Honestly I don’t see it too, and Hedi will come for Bellettini’s control if ever.

All these talk lack nuances and they come out ill-informed. Once you went through a messy Kering exit…

^Quite ugly indeed.

That said, if I could bet I put a little bit of money on him at Gucci. I’d put also some money on MGC at Gucci too, but I think his success would be easier.
