You've answered your own question, it is "two different countries," on the opposite side of the world at that. We may not like it but all of the big fashion and lifestyle magazines do it, especially if the subject is a celebrity or top model - they allow other editions to publish the photos from a celeb / top model shoot usually after it has run in the sponsoring country.

Well, Yes, that is true. The Cosmo cover of Angelina Jolie was reprinted in the bulgarian Cosmo months later, because she is so famous.
But I think what Littleathquakes meant was that both covers are terrible and boring, disregarding the fact that they were reprinted.
The covers are simply not good.

Angie's cover was great and it got re-produced many times.

And btw, Ive heard from my german friends that ppl in Germany dont like her, because they consider her "wack" for selling-out to US, in a way.
