Height / How tall are you?

This height thing is really unpredictable and individual. I've met people who reached adult height by the time they were fifteen years old. I've also met people who had massive growth spurts when they were 17 or 18 years old.

I rather be really tall than short. I'm only 5 feet and it is so inconvinient. I like to take care of myself and some physical tasks are too hard for me just because I'm tiny. I hate having to ask people for help for things like that. Plus, people always push by me because they don't "see" me. I look very young and my work requires me to look professional, kind of hard to be so when I look like a teenager. The ironic thing is all the guys I had dated or liked are like really tall, one is 6'10. So sometimes I wish I can levitate so I won't have to break a neck talking to them or answering "no, he's not my big cousin. He's my date!" Don't even get me started on clothes.

Being tall is a great advantage, so I suggest everyone uses it if they have it to its best potential.

I'm 5'9". (I think that's 175 cm) I wouldn't mind being a little taller, but I love my height. I wear 4 inch heels too, I don't think there's anything wrong with a girl on the taller side in a pair of stilettos.

I just did one of those height calculators (where you put in your parents height and it tells you how tall you should end up) and apparently I should be 5'3".5. :shock:

That calculator backed up what my doctor told my parents when I was little, that I'd be about 5'9 - and I'm 5'7.

I'm only 5'0" and I wish I was taller by two more inches. Finding the perfect jeans is always like an impossible task and some of the more bigger bags would never fit my frame :(

I stand 5'10" in stockings...but I wear heels a lot, so I guess more like 6'0-6'1 ;)

When I was young, my doctor told my parents I'd be 6'1 or 6'2 (my parents are both 6'0 or taller)...i'm glad he was wrong....5'10 makes me pretty tall, but there are still some guys out there taller then me when I wear heels. Any taller and I don't know how I'd find a boyfriend or pants....as it is, my 37" inseam makes buying pants darn near impossible! :p

Aww come on don't say that:(...you can't hate yourself for that, it is something you have no control over...start worrying about the stuff that really make you as a person which i'm sure you have plenty of ;)^_^
*hug & :kiss: for Jem7*

I'll put my height down in various measurements.
5'5" ---> 165" ---> 165.10cm ---> 1.651m

I'm okay with my height. It can be annoying having to stand on my tip-toes to see out my front door peep hole. It is rather fun to get to climb onto the kitchen counter to reach the top cabinets. :D

Is it true that girls usually have a growth spurt before their first period, then after that do not grow more then 1-3 inches? :unsure:

I had my first period when I was almost 13, and never had a growth spurt before that, is it likely that I will have my growth sput later on? Yesterday my Dad gave me the whole "late bloomer" speech again, and I'm hoping it's true.
