help dress me for dinner!

so i have to go to a trendy dinner place (nyc) on feb 2nd. i only know what pants i'm going to wear.
i'd normally be able to figure it out for myself.. i've gone shopping a few times in little boutiques in soho/nolita.. dept stores like bloomies and have been looking online.

the problem is i have a LOT of class and a LOT of homework and very little time to shop.

so, i'm looking for shoes, and a top/blouse.. and possibly a jacket
i'd like ot keep the prices reasonable..
up to 100 for shoes
up to 100 for blouse
and preferably no more than 200 for jacket

if anyone has ANY ideas or link me to any websites..

i have a pretty classic and simple style. i generally like clean and unfussy clothing that sometimes have unique accents

I nice pair of stilettos would be nice with a crisp white blouse, fitted, of course. Be simple, be chic. Play up your eyes or lips (not both). Dressing simple looks better than too much. Don't forget the accesories. A nice big bracelet or chunky ring would be nice.

Id also go for something simple. This first outfit is quite reserved but I think you could make it really special with the right accessories and makeup. Maybe team it up with a vintage clutch and some elegant earrings. I thought these dewdrop earrings from anthropologie were great value. Adding little little touches of colour with your make up and accesories will really inject some life into an otherwise simple outfit.

The blouse in the second outfit is at the top end of you budget but at less than half price I think this is a great deal. I love the delicate lace round the neckline and the slight smock effect at the front.

Id team both outfits with these gorgeous pumps from Steve Madden. The bow on the side is a great detail.
