Thanks for the replies! I decided to get the top in charcoal instead of the dress because I just don't see it as enough of an investment piece to warrant the price tag of $800.

I have to admit, the dress is definitely lovely. But for the same money I'd rather get that Roland Mouret dress. At least I can wear it to the office.

Alright... I caved. I emailed them to change my order to the charcoal dress instead. I just hope they get my message before they ship the top out!

well...if that's the choice...roland mouret or this one...then i'd say that the roland mouret is a much better long term investment...and frankly i just like the roland mouret better...
because you could wear it more conservative but it can also be very sexy...versatility is a big plus...
