Help with a Salvatore Ferragamo bag

Hello,
I jus joined this message board and I am really into bags especially coach, ferragamo, dior, gucci, and others.
I recently found this one bag, a Salvatore Ferragamo Leather Hobo with Chain Trim and i cant stop thinking about it. what do you guys think about it. more importantly, do any of you know where i can buy this thing, cuz i cant find it anywhere!

is that definitely real? I don't remember that style. the SF gancini bags don't do much for me. the leather is lovely, but the styling is a bit boring and I don't like the hardware.

i bought this bag a couple of months ago from neiman marcus but i returned it to get a different bag, it also comes in white. you should definetley be able to get ahold of one of these from neimans. hope that helps!

Obsidian, the neimanmarcus.com website has one in green; I'll bet if you call your local store, they'll be able to find one for you in black. I love that style and love Ferragamo in general. Just so you know, the hobo isn't super-roomy, so if you're the type that carries around EVERYTHING in your bag, you'll be disappointed...

thanks for the response, i tried calling my local neiman marcus and the lady had no idea what i was talking about! i guess i might jus take a trip to fifth ave and hope for the best cuz i have searched the internet non-stop

I think its a bit plain...But if your really up to it...why dont you send them an e-mail through their site and they will send you back the item number and you can use it to check all the stores around the world whether they have it or not...some stores have a system which connects them internationally tracing their stocks...

i'm sure you could find that bag at neimans or saks. there are few stores (if any) who have access to overseas inventory. they have different buyers and it's a different market... but try contacting your local boutique and they can check for it in all the stores in the US and hawaii.
