Help with CNC men's boot sizing

I am greedily eyeing these boots:

...but I can't find them locally, and am wondering what size I should order should I go the online route. That is, do they run "true to size"?

Help anyone?

Is this CnC as in california contemporary wear brand, or C'N'C as in Costume National's diffusion line? If it's the latter, chances are you will need to go one size down. Costume National's main line shoes run one size big (UK sizes), so if you are a 10, you will need size 9. This is an educated guess though.

Thanks faust, they are Costume National's line. I didn't realize it was a diffusion line.

Sometimes sizing charts say 42 is equal to US 8, sometimes 9. It gets confusing.
