Veronique Nichanian for Hermes homme
I like this collection....the fabrics look so soft and delicate..they will probably fit like heaven. I like that shade of blue too.
love at first sight
thanks for the photos runner
looks like hermes got a shot of testosterone....
you're welcome Lena
essentially polished fashion
I just found this.
from JC Report
thanks for the interview
i was also thinking of posting this,
isn't JC Report adorable?
I really don't like this at all. The first shirt reminds me of those horribly flowy shirts from the early 90's that some people still wear to this day. The only piece I really liked was the first suit which I adored and the shape and cut of the pants. Other than that, big disappointment.
yes, one of my favorite pages.
It looks practically flawless as usual, but a bit too busy with the multistripes for me...
Not my favourite season.
Lord, this collection is nice
I love this look from all of them
does anyone know why so few pictures exist from this collection in the main portals? usually vogueparis.com and gq-magazine.co.uk are fully stocked, but each only has a handful of these pictures (not to mention firstview.com's complete lack of coverage)?
anyone have any more pictures?
they did those pants, or something very similar to them, for ss03, I have them in a different color pattern.
I am always disapointed by Hermes men's clothing. It is like, they will never take any real risks because they are terrefied that bankers will stop buying the stuff. I'm not happy with this collection at all.
That is a cute look, but its lacks design integrity. What is the design in this? I garuntee you almost every stlye concious man in the world has pieces just like these. I could have done that myself, and considering how cher Hermes RTW is, it doesnt seem worth it to me.
hermes makes classic clothes that suit extremely wealthy men...there's something to be said about not having to "worry" about something looking too trendy or stodgy and being impeccably made without carrying a bespoke price tag.
brands like loro piana, zegna, and others appeal to this same customer not because they are presenting something new but because they are interpreting the trends in a conservative way for their clients.
i personally am in love with looks like this...
I understand the importance of a classic, high quality collection. But why put it down the runway and pretend it is fashion? Why have a show if all you are doing is slightly changing basics that have been set for years? I wish they would have both. Leave this stuff, no reason to stop making it if it is selling, but why not put something at least a little bit more daring down the runway? A dual collection technique wouldn't be a horrible move. Just my opinion.
i like it.......
strong basic and NOT silly. there were many silly collections this season
looks like hermes got a shot of testosterone.... [/b][/quote]

for a regular guy...this is actually very daring and avant garde...a little tank/vest over a short slv shirt with the sleeves rolled up is "fashion" in the men's world...period...and quite edgy for a classic company like hermes...
without being silly...as lolita luxe pointed out... B)
i love this look...
