Heron Preston F/W 2023.24 New York

I have a soft spot for him…
It’s honest, it’s non-sense and it doesn’t try to be what it isn’t.
He knows his limits and shows what he sells and what he can execute in the best way possible regarding the price point.

That being said, if you cannot have quality fake fur, stick to shearling or no fur at all…
Because it looks atrocious…

Somehow it's more elevated and desirable than Matthew Williams Givenchy, probably because it is not that pretentious.

Fake fur should not be used for full furs to be honest. Keep it to trims or detailings. Either that or really amp up the slight nastiness but doing a faux fur that almost looks wrong, or even treat it with paints or foil or something.

It does feel true to him though so I can appreciate that part of it. There is a lot of bulk that could have been toned down, and that opening look is such an outlier compared to the rest of the collection.

Same thing I was thinking, for him Streetwear is his brand DNA not like many of these mainstream brands that only did it for clout. I like the knock off vibe( intentional I believe) that comes with the use of that font in look 4 and on the look Alton Mason is wearing. I also like his usage of colour but the furry pieces didnt add anything to the collection. The sneakers did in fact stand out for me than the clothes.
