I definitly like this so much more than last season. I can see Balmain reference in this.

I like it, especially the last dress is fantastic. Of course it´s very their style but i didn´t expect something else and it sells good, so why a change.

Actually I quite like this. I agree that it is a good departure from those usual boring bandage dresses.

btw I like those details on Toni's and Sigrid's dresses.

Dresses are longer and darker this season which is a pretty good thing for me. I like it :)

Something really different from Azria this time I can see. In the past, most of his collections looked almost the same every season. But This actually looked fresh. Earthy and exotic. Much like spring 09's Mcqueen + Balmain.

I seriously cannot believe he let them walk out there on WOOD in brand new shoes. That's a death sentence to the ankles, ladies. At least give them some sort of traction. How awful.

But the show was alright. It was a different take on the bandages, which is nice. I can't say I'm in love with it. It's just alright.

some of the dresses were nice, but some were pure ugly! Let alone the hair and makeup and those boots, not a fan!
Tho I do like the disco dress on Anna S!

the last couple of season were exactly the same. now that i thought they'd never present something new, they have! well, sort of!
it's of course very referential (i think it's supposed to) and still want to maintain the iconic minidress the celebs die for and blah blah blah... BUT it feels different this time.
it's much more now, and not so much retro-copy... it doesnt wanna make you say "for this crap, it'd rather have the original" ... well, it ALWAYS kind of does with about ANY brand, but i hope you'll get what i mean

about this being balmain-ish, decarnain-esque... i'll say that balmain looks 100 times more HLoriginals, than the other way around.
if what you are asking however is who did it better, decarnin wins!!

I don't understand why poeple see balmain everywhere. Every time there's a single sequin or jewelry it instantly is balmain inspired ! oh please. balmain is great, but don't be obsessed, designers obliously look at one another's collection, but balmain isn't the inventor of sequin and jewelry either !

this is a beautiful collection, last season they were really set on just selling selling selling, i remember going into matches and they brought out 3 'extra' dresses which were produced just for sales according to le clerk. she said they were only 600 quid each, when she showed them to me i was like errr! it was in bubblepink, baby blue and this ugly crayola purple. all just plain boob tube style herve leger. so not classy. and looked like it was of poorer quality.
so yes, i love this collection. so experimental, so fresh but very herve.
