well first of all that hair and makeup is horrific imo...a complete distraction...

but the clothes are cool!..:woot: i like them very much...
i really like the tribal sort of feel from those chest pieces...the bone and the other one..

and that interesting beige top with the really long skeleton sleeves...how cool!...

thanks so much for posting..

Bones seem to be quite popular... :woot:
Besides that, can't say I am moved at all by this...

i agree with you adorefaith...

and i don't like the shoes..which are like ann demeulemeester at her worst imo...
:ninja:...

but i have to say that i think that some of these dresses are more interesting from the back than from the front..
great draping and tucking...
looks really easy but there has actually been a lot of thought put into it and it's executed rather well imo...

i see a lot of young american designers trying to do this sort of thing...
*mary ping comes to mind*
but it often looks really amateur if it isn't done by someone with great draping skills...

i don't know anything about this label/brand/designer (?)
can anyone enlighten us as to who they are and what they are about etc...?

thanks in advance...
:flower:

first of all, these are really bad pictures... who took them, and whats the source???

the makeup was actually really beautiful, bushy eyebrows, tan skin, purple highlights in the hair.

Hisui is really post-futuristic. Hiroko Ito (designer) likes to use sharp folds with dirty dying/colors and architectural lines. Last season she had really colorful giant knits.

This time the theme was `physical`...so the designs were an inspiration from the human body.

Mintdesigns also had dinosaur bones in their collection. They call it `grotesque chic`

inaya and mishahoi, the timing is perfect for me, I've been concentrating a lot lately on how the skeleton effects my body in motion (a new found awareness, sports related). regardless, the use of seams and gentle structure is beautifully done there is a relaxed ease to this. the standout's for me are the blue skirt with the high waist and the black tunic with the skeleton imagery on it.
