Hood By Air S/S 2015 New York

The silly perspex collars, perplexing repetition of leather jackets and vulgar large brand name fonts aside, there's a 90s industrial edginess to the collection that is bold and a lot of fun.

This is weird but if you break each look into pieces it's good collection though.

ugh...stop trying so hard, please...

its funny how people comment and say hes trying so hard, when he has been doing this naturally since wayyyy before he was even noticed. If anything this is less forced looking than his previous collections and much more grown up and mature. Its more focused and these are looks on their own as well as separate pieces that can be mixed with other items.

I don't know. I feel that his earlier stuff, at least early to me (around 2010), was a lot more toned down then all this. I wanted a pair of his kimono shorts back then so badly but now I don't want to touch anything with a 20 foot pole. maybe it was my aesthetic that changed and he just became truer to himself. Either way it all now just reminds me of these personal fashion lines that have been clogging up my Facebook feed for the past 3 years.
