I think there was a featured article on him a few years ago in Bazaar, i love his photographs, they are completely visionary even to this day.

his work was amazing...he could make anything beautiful with his unique talent, even feet
i scanned this photo from the may 15,1941 issue of "vogue":

the way he used light and shadow resulted in such breathtaking images!

(the guy i bought this issue from this morning writes the year in pencil on the cover of every magazine he sells, GRRR!)
