I have to admit i quite like Mcfly aswell. They have a certain charm

Arctic monkeys are doing pretty well at the moment too.

I'm a fan of grime and eski, etc, which is what i think you are referring to. Most of it is really good; original production and thought provoking lyrics. But these good ones are mainly underground because record companies seem to have given contracts to the rubbishy pop-but-wanna-be-hip-hop artists like lady sovereign .

But the person you all have to watch out for is Corinne Bailey Rae. I heard her on the radio a couple of months ago featuring on a song called young and foolish and her voice really caught my attention, so a couple of weeks later i went to see her live at Cherry Jam and she just blew me away. Theres something slightly Billie Holiday about her - shes gonna be huge!

ahhh Acrtic Monkeys, these boys are AMAZING, best thing out of Sheffield since Jarvis! Their current single is getting overplay on radio1, I really hope they don't become over-exposed, they are way too talented for our s****y charts.
